The most recent application that I worked on is a 2D single-player side-scrolling game based on the popular Half-Life modification, MechMod.
Application Details:
- Retro-styled side-scrolling using 2D sprites
- Ability to pick from 5 different playable classes
- Upgrades based on score modifier
- Movement controlled via digital control stick through
thumb gestures on touch-screen
- Black-box coding while adhering to the hardware
limitations of the iPhone infrastructure
Desktop Specialist - January to November 2009

My Role as a Desktop Specialist (local lead)
included:
- Delegation of work amongst team members
- Training team members on system tools and features
specific to certain applications
- Conducting meetings on a bi-weekly basis for the
assessment and evaluation of team progress
- Logging bugs internally and liaising with the Managed Desktop
Engineering team
- Adhering to and submitting deliverables within
pre-assigned time frames
- Second level of support for software and system issues not
resolvable by front-end Help Desk and Help Desk Specialists
Other Responsibilities and Accomplishments:
- Earned an internal IBM certificate for high performance
during the second quarter of 2009
- Completed a project to train end-user staff on the LEAN
Productivity System
- Completed a project to create 20 new articles of
documentation to be used on IBM's W3 Intranet Portal
- Resolved a global Microsoft Exchange issue by creating an
Active Directory script
- Single-handedly responsible for training new hires to the
Desktop Specialist team on the technical aspects of their
jobs
- Took control of and resolved 10 different critical outages
affecting over a hundred employees
- Worked with enterprise level software tools to manage
hundred of servers and thousands of client machines
